Mercedes-Benz Vision Tokyo is the latest self-driving car unveiled at Tokyo Motor Show this year. Mercedes-Benz brought a slightly taller and considerably uglier minivan version of F015 Luxury in Motion concept to Tokyo. It is a one-box futuristic vehicle with an unusually aerodynamic shape for this kind of cars.

Like F015 Luxury in Motion, Mercedes-Benz continues to signal its self-driving cars with these silver body and opaque windows which shows clearly that Mercedes-Benz Vision Tokyo is an autonomous vehicle.

The amazing ride also has a rear center brake light which is basically a QR code and that can be scanned like that of  F015 Luxury in Motion.
Access is gained through an up-swinging large door on the left-hand side to reveal a very roomy machine with seats for five. The Vision Tokyo uses an oval shaped couch to create a true lounge.
The Mercedes-Benz Vision Tokyo could be described as a very large smartphone with wheels you can climb into since it brings some new and amazing features on the table by coming with Deep Machine Learning and an intelligent Predictive Engine that allow the car to learn about its occupants' preferences from one journey to another and adapt the next accordingly.
It comes ready for a fuel cell-powered electric drive system that uses CFRP pressure tanks for safe storage of liquid hydrogen. It also has a high-voltage battery that can be charged wirelessly and offers a maximum range of 190 kilometres (118 miles). The overall range of the whole hybrid system, however, extends to 980 kilometres (609 miles).
