This Wunderlich creation introduces a more elaborate design which is said to improve the functionality. While most of the similar pieces are made from a slightly curved piece of thermoformed plastic, the Vario Ergo 3D introduces a more complex shape to deal with buffeting better.
Customers can adjust the angle, height and distance from the rider, thus obtaining the best possible effect. And with all these operations not demanding anything but basic knowledge on how to use a hex key, anyone can devise improved riding conditions.
Unlike older versions that needed holes drilled in the upper section of a bike's windscreen, the Vario Ergo 3D can be attached or removed without any fuss and with no modifications to the bike. While preserving the condition of the machine, riders can effortlessly remove the Wunderlich Vario Ergo 3D deflector if they plan to sell their BMW…and install it on the new bike.
The attachment mechanism is CNC machined from lightweight aluminium alloy and securely holds the Vario Ergo 3D in place, while the Lexan used for the deflector is shatter-proof. This add-on works perfectly and is approved for use with original BMW screens.
Vario Ergo 3D BMW Adventure Motorcycle is available in both clear and smoked versions.
